MICHAEL ARABIAN
Michael Arabian is a multiple-award winning director, noted for innovative and original interpretations of new and classic plays, directed numerous world, West Coast and Los Angeles premieres, including Zimmer by Donald Margulies at the Jewish Rep in New York and Spring Awakening at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles. His theatre company, Theatre InSite, staged productions of an urban Romeo & Juliet that had audiences following scenes and car chases through the CBS backlot ‘streets’, and an update of The Trojan Women starring Mariette Hartley, staged on the old Gilligan’s Island Lagoon. His recent production of John Patrick Shanley’s Danny and the Deep Blue Sea received 12 critics choices and ran for 7 months. He has directed at the Mark Taper Forum and Lucile Lortels White Barn Theatre in Westport Ct.
